Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,
Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.
All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on
convert-me.com FaceBook pageThank you for being with us and sorry for any inconveniences this could caused.

Is there a conversion for Normal M^3 / Hr to SCFH?
Mon Jul 17, 2006 10:59 pm
1 cu ft = 0.028 316 6466 m^3. That's the easy part
Normal m^3 implies a gas measured at 1 arm, and 0 degrees C.
"Standard" is ambiguous. It is measured at 1 atm, but different "standards" may be 15, 20, or 25 degrees C, (or even 60 degrees F which is "almost" 15 C). Once you find the "standard" conditions being used, use the ideal gas law to transform the volume form "normal" to "standard" conditions, then use the cubic meter to cubic foot number above.
