Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,
Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.
All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on

Please advise if you know the relationship of the Megawatts & Kwh?
Howthe following is being workout:
700 megawatt per Generator x 26 Generators can produce 84.7 Billion Kwh per year?

1 Megawatt = 1000 Kilowatts
700 Mw x 26 generators = 18200 Mw = 182000000 Kw
They produce 182000000 Kwh each hour. There are 8760 hours in a year, so 182000000 x 8760 = 159432000000 Kwh per year.
Of course these figures assume that all of your generators work on a full power non-stop all year around.

i think the conversion of convert-me.com is wrong.
1 MW = 1000KW
Convert-me has written: 700 Mw x 26 generators = 18200 Mw = 182000000 Kw
According to me it should be: 700 Mw x 26 generators = 18200 Mw = 18200000 Kw
