Going with the torque, that is 28,000,000 inch-pounds or 2,333,333 ft-lbs. That is an awful lot of torque and would pretty much tear the threads off anything.

28000kips is a lot of tension value.check your torque value theres definitely something wrong

1kip=4448N. Now to convert this into torque u need distance.

The distance here is the diameter of the bolt

Hence torque In Nm= force in newton× diameter of bolt in metre× coefficient of friction factor

Coefficient of friction for A325 widely used as structural bolts is 0.14
