Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,
Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.
All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on

Can some tell me the linear METERS needed of a roofing material that is 3 feet wide to cover my fiancees roof the is 24 feet by 26 feet on each half of the roof?
24 feet is-7.3152meters------26 feet is 7.9248meters square meter per half comes to 57.97 or so i believe for half the roof

24' (width of roof) / 3' (width of material) = 8 rows of material, so 8 * 26' (roof length) = 208'. 208' * 0.3048 (meters conversion) = 63.4 * 2 (sides of the roof) = 126.8 linear meters of material to cover the roof but alas . . .
. . . we're both wrong. Roofing material has to overlap to prevent leaks. You'll need to talk to a roofer. :D
