Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,
Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.

I have bought a piece of land it is a very odd shape. I have paced out the perimeter and each straight piece measures : 65 ft.,172 ft., 291 ft., 30 ft.,
23ft., 18 ft., 16ft., 245ft., 307 ft.,156 ft., 207 ft., 134 ft., 93 ft., and 171 ft.
As I said it is a very strange shape , and I would be most grateful if anyone can help with this. :cry:

You should have received a legal survey with the property purchase. If you didn't, contact the realtor or the county clerk, where it's recorded.
On that document should be the acreage. If not, call the surveyor on the document and they can tell you.
As far as figuring this complicated property, I would want bearings and distances by chain, EDM or GPS, which will be on the legal survey.
Pacing won't do as it's not accurate. You have no less than 14 survey lines and trying to calculate it without true bearings and distances would be a waste of time and you still wouldn't know the acreage.
