Volume of water in a circular pipe

Can anyone tell me if I have a half inch ( internal diameter) circular pipe how long it needs to be to hold 30 litres of water.

If you can also post the formula that would be great.

It's a cylinder, V = (pi/4) * h * d^2, and you can solve for h.

30 L = 0.03 m^3, 1/2" = 12/7 mm = 0.0127 m,

0.03 m^3 x (4/pi) x 1/(0.0127 m)^2 = 236.8 m
