In FEET, if a pipe run is 100 feet long and each stick of pipe is 20 feet long, how is this calculated? How is pipe pro-rated per joint?
If the plan provides an elevation of 23.50 to 26.50 and the run is 100 feet long, how is the percentage of all calculated mathematically?
I've done this before, but I cannot remember the calculations.
Thank you.

Thank you.
Rise/Run gives you percentage of slope, so: (26.50 - 23.50') / 100' = 0.03 Multiply by 100 if you want to use the % sign.
At 3%, each foot will rise (or fall) by 0.03 feet, so each 20' joint will have an elevation change of 0.6 feet. (20' * 0.03)
