I need to convert 5,630,000 sf to sy and then to convert them to tons

to convert form sf to sy you divide by 9 so, 5,630,000/9=62,555.55 SY, to get to a tons you multiply your CUBIC yards by 1.33 twice, but you need to know the thickness of your matrial over the area to figure out your cubic yards.
For Example, if your Material was 6" thick over 5,630,000sf the formula would be:

5,630,000*.5/27= 104,260 CY

Then Multiply your CY by 1.33 twice

104260*1.33*1.33=184,426 Tons
