Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.
All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on

I need to convert mg m2 to mg m3 to be able to calculate how much nutrients is added into the system. I know the height and diameter and volume of the system, but now need to convert the mg m2, does anyone have any suggestions how to do this?

You must have stumped everyone here because no one answered. I am a day late to the party but just in case someone else comes along and asks I will put in the formula as well as a link to an online conversion calculator at the CDC

Xppm=(Ymg/m3*24.45)/(molecular weight)
Xmg/m3=(Xppm*molecular weight)/(24.45)
