Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,
Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.
All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on

your volume is 6.5' x 2' x 1.66667' = 21.6667 cubic feet
1 cubic foot = 7.481 gallons
21.66667 cu ft x 7.481 gal/cu ft = 162.09 gallons

hi and thanks for your quick reply one thing i don't understand though,how does 1' 8" ( 20") become 1.66667 ??

Hi and you're welcome.
8" is 8/12 or 2/3 of a foot.
2/3 in decimal form is 0.66666666666667
So 1'-8" = 1.66667 feet.
