For a completely full tank, V = (pi)*a*b*L, where a and b are the semi-diameters, 27" and 36", and 1 gallon = 231 in^3, so
V = 3.1416*27*36*119 = 363381.7 in^3,
divided by 232 = 1573 gallons.
If you have external dimensions, you need to allow for the wall thickness of the tank and it would be a bit less. Just estimate the tank wall thicknesses and reduce each of the dimensions above by two thicknesses.
