Dear convert-me.com forum visitors,
Our forum has been available for many years. In September 2014 we decided to switch it to read-only mode. Month after month we saw less posts with questions and answers from real people and more spam posts. We were spending more and more resources cleaning the spam until there were less them 1 legitimate message per 100 spam posts. Then we decided it's time to stop.
All the posts in the forum will be available and searchable. We understand there are a lot of useful information and we aren't going to remove anything. As for the new questions, you can always ask them on

How do I convert a wind speed given in Kph into a loading of newtons per square meter or kilogram per square meter ?
Relivance is to work out the loading on an external window blind (shade).
You would have to assume the wind is coming straight on and the cloth is solid, not perforated, although perforated cloths exist, so would be handy if calculation could take into account how much wind would pass through the cloth.

Seeing as this hasn't been answered I'll toss my hat in the ring. I'm too lazy to do the conversions or look up the formula you seek so I'll post a simple wind speed to pressure calculation in Mph and Pounds per foot
Wind speed squared times .0027 Therefore a 30 mph wind is: 30*30*.0027= 2.43 Pounds per foot of pressure.
