http://vps.arachnoid.com/TankCalc/index.html This excellent program calculates the volume of round cylinder tanks, with customizable end caps. You can generate a table of volumes per depth, in various length units (inch, cm, etc.).
To calculate the volume of an elliptical cylinder, you will need to use a correction factor. That is addressed toward the bottom of the page under "User Inquiries". I suggest you read the "Tank Wider than Tall" inquiry first, then the instructions on the main page.
